Biography
For Rocco Fasano the public service is more than a career: it’s a vocation. He earned his Bachelor’s in Political Science and a specialization in Public Administration at York University with Honours, followed by a Master of Public Administration at Queen’s University. Upon graduation, Rocco immediately pursued a career in the Ontario Public Service. In fact, he started with the Ministry of Education’s Education Finance Branch just two days after his final class!
Rocco has been active in AMAPCEO since 2012, by aiding in AMAPCEO’s mobilization effort and organizing his branch members as a communication liaison for information related to that collective bargaining agreement. Shortly after, Rocco was elected to the position of Delegate and has become increasingly more active in the Bay Street District since the implementation of AMAPCEO’s new governance model, first as Community Lead, Member Engagement; and then as Treasurer.
Rocco is proud to have contributed to the success of his District and is looking to widen its signed member base and deepen the engagement of its members.
