Nominations open for the 2017 AMAPCEO Activist Awards

The Activist Recognition Committee is pleased to announce the launch of our fifth annual awards program to recognize contributions of AMAPCEO volunteers and representatives in providing outstanding services to members.

The nomination period for the 2017 awards is now open. Nominations and supporting letters must be received by Friday, October 20 at 5 pm.

Any AMAPCEO member in good standing may nominate an activist or group that has demonstrated outstanding service in their individual or team role. Judging will be carried out by the five members of the Activist Recognition Committee. Winner(s) will be announced and awards presented at this year’s Annual Delegates’ Conference in December.

More about AMAPCEO and our Members: Established in 1992, AMAPCEO is a bargaining agent that represents 13,250 professional and supervisory public servants, most of whom work directly for the Government of Ontario in every ministry and in a number of agencies, boards and commissions; in 130 communities throughout Ontario and in eleven cities outside Canada. We also represent employees outside the Ontario Public Service in: the Office of the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth; Waypoint Mental Health Centre in Penetanguishene; Public Health Ontario; Health Quality Ontario; the Ontario Arts Council and the Office of the French Language Services Commissioner.
