Under the AMAPCEO Constitution, if a bargaining unit is not represented by a District-elected Delegate, its members will elect their own unit-specific Delegate. This ensures that every AMAPCEO bargaining unit is represented on a local District Executive Committee and at the Annual Delegates’ Conference (ADC).
Nominations must be submitted using this online form to the following open Bargaining Unit Ddelegate positions (one per unit):
- College of Midwives of Ontario (Midtown)
- Invest Ontario (Toronto Centre)
- Ontario Health (Queen’s Park)
- pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (Toronto Centre)
In order to become a Delegate, you must:
- be a signed member in good standing and
- have a home position in an AMAPCEO bargaining unit.
If you become a Delegate, you will be required to complete AMAPCEO’s education program for Delegates within one year. Learn more about Educational Requirements for Delegates.

What is the importance of Delegates?
Delegates have two important roles: they serve with their District Director on the District Executive Committee, which meets at least four times each year, and they attend as voting members of the Annual Delegates’ Conference
The District Executive Committee is responsible for promoting member engagement, volunteer recruitment, and organizing membership events in the District.
