AMAPCEO recognizes September 30 as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. On this day, we continue to learn, reflect and honour survivors, their families, and the communities who were impacted, and who continue to be impacted, by Canada’s Residential School system.
Every year we take the opportunity to continuing to walk on the shared path toward equity, healing and meaningful reconciliation. On September 30, we encourage our members to wear orange in honour of Residential School Survivors and their families, and in remembrance of the children who never returned home.
