Activists and Leaders Forum Resources

The Activists and Leaders Forum is an opportunity for AMAPCEO representatives from across the province to meet, learn, and share information that helps to strengthen our union. Each of the union's districts, equity caucuses, and bargaining units are represented, in addition to the Young Workers and Retiree Caucuses.

Upcoming Forum:

OPS Activist Conference
May 15, 2025
9:30 am - 5 pm
Hilton Hotel

Agenda

This conference is designed to prepare AMAPCEO activists for the engagement and mobilization of members during OPS bargaining. We will explore our historic campaigns and wins, discuss the current economic and political climate that informs bargaining, and have hands-on skills building sessions and workshops that focus on the work of connecting with members, building our activist base, and organizing and leading bargaining actions in the workplace.

After the conference, and with our support, we’ll continue to work together, sharing what you’ve learned with others and building up a team of AMAPCEO activists across the province!

We would like to acknowledge Tkaronto, a Mohawk word meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing.”

The AMAPCEO office is on the traditional unceded territory of Haudenosaunee speaking nations, including the Wendat, Seneca and Mohawk. These nations have been here since time immemorial and were in more recent times joined by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
