In keeping with our strategic objectives, AMAPCEO will support requests from Districts to make donations or provide sponsorships to community initiatives.
This could include asking AMAPCEO to furnish a prize for a workplace fundraising drive, sponsor an upcoming event, or make an outright donation directly to an organization or initiative.
AMAPCEO has set aside $1,000 in funding for community donations and sponsorships for each geographic District from its central budget. Districts with two Communities will split their funds into $500 parcels. Districts with three or more recognized Communities will receive an extra $500 per Community, annually.
AMAPCEO will consider proposals for donations or sponsorships to organizations or events, particularly those that are in keeping with the union's mission and values—in particular, our committment to public services, trade unionism, fairness, and equity.
Organizations or initiative organizers do not necessarily have to be registered charities or incorporated not-for-profits.
