On April 20 at noon, the AMAPCEO Disability Caucus is pleased to host a Fireside Chat from the self-titled Neurodiverse Employee Resource Discussion Group (NERD) support group championed by staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs on “Building an OPS Where Neurodivergent Workers Thrive”.
Hear from colleagues with lived experiences with neurodiversity in the workplace; on how to support and embrace neurodiversity as part of the mainstream work environment; and on actions that support those who think/learn differently. The speakers both affirm and proactively promote recognition that each of us comes with a range of strengths, and when we remove barriers and stereotypes, all individuals and businesses can and will thrive.
