Get your questions answered
In the coming weeks, you can expect canvassers or representatives from each of the political parties to knock on your door to provide information about their party and candidate, and try to determine your vote.
This is an opportunity to better understand the positions and policies of the different candidates and how they might align with your priorities.
We encourage you to take a minute and ask anyone who comes to your door a few of the following questions to learn more about each party’s platform.
- Over the past several years, public servants in Ontario across all sectors have been calling for greater investment in services to meet the public’s needs. Ontario’s public services not only need to be protected, they need to grow. Will your party commit to investing in building a stronger, more robust public service?
- Study after study has demonstrated that flexible work works. It has benefits to the individual, the family, and the community. Will your party commit to making Ontario a leader in providing its employees with an equitable flexible work model?
- Recent reports from the Auditor General of Ontario demonstrated that the province significantly overpays consultants. These consultants are brought on via contracts whose details are rarely publicly disclosed. Will your party commit to limiting the use of consultants and improving transparency in the public service?
