When Oct, 1-31, 2026

The month of October is designated as Latin American Heritage Month by the Parliament of Canada in 2018. It is an opportunity to learn more about Latin American heritage and culture and to honour the rich traditions of Canadians of Latin American origin.

Canadians of Latin American origin make up a large and growing community in Canada, enriching the national fabric with diverse and vibrant cultures, cuisine, music, dance, and more. Members of the Latin American community play an important role in Canada’s growth and prosperity.
