Join your fellow AMAPCEO members in the Western District’s London/Windsor community as we march in the London Pride Parade! Friends and family are welcome!

If you are interested in marching at London Pride, contact Western District Director Suzanne Conquer at conquer@amapceo.on.ca for more details and time to meet.

The Parade will start at the Western Fair District Parking Lot (off Rectory Street - map and directions). Look for the AMAPCEO progressive pride flag!

All are welcome. Make sure to wear sunscreen and bring along some water to stay hydrated. The parade organizers also recommended:

  • Comfortable breathable clothing
  • Phones
  • Water guns (squirt ONLY those who ask)
  • Bubbles
  • Flags

We’ll have some AMAPCEO gear to show off our colours and celebrate in style!

On Thursday, June 29 at noon ET, Suzanne Conquer will also be hosting a virtual speaking event on the 1990 Montreal Raids and subsequent protests as part of the OPS Pride Networks virtual speaker series. Suzanne will share her experience as one of the protestors arrested at the time, as well as images of the raids and protests.

We would like to acknowledge Tkaronto, a Mohawk word meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing.”

The AMAPCEO office is on the traditional unceded territory of Haudenosaunee speaking nations, including the Wendat, Seneca and Mohawk. These nations have been here since time immemorial and were in more recent times joined by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
