Workplace Representatives (WPRs) are trained union members who have volunteered to confidentially assist their fellow members in the workplace. They are the first point of contact in seeking information and representation with an issue at work.
This three-day workshop is required training for those seeking to become a WPR.
Participants will learn:
- the role, relationships, and rights of the WPR in AMAPCEO
- AMAPCEO’s dispute resolution process and an interest-based approach to problem-solving
- how to thoroughly investigate member complaints; and
- how to effectively represent members in front of management.
