The AMAPCEO Board of Directors congratulates Dave Bulmer on his re-election to the role of President/CEO.
Bulmer has a long, proud history of union activism, public service, and leadership. He was first elected to the role of President/CEO in 2015, prior to which he served a term as Treasurer/CFO and two terms as Board Chair. He is a long-time employee of the Ontario Ministry of Health, Emergency Health Services, Land & Air Ambulance Program.
Under Bulmer’s tenure as President thus far, the union has seen an expansion of its communications and outreach, education, and membership engagement services, as well as the building of new alliances with fellow unions and other labour organizations. Bulmer has also overseen office and staff expansion needed to service an amazing 25% growth in the union’s membership, which now represents ten bargaining units and more than 15,500 members.
“I am honoured to once again serve as the union’s President,” said Bulmer. “I believe we are in an exciting period in AMAPCEO’s history, and I am looking forward to continuing our growth and to increasing our strength in numbers and influence.”
