Update

Wednesday, October 16, 2024

On Monday, November 4 at noon ET, AMAPCEO will be hosting a virtual GMM exclusively for members who were unable to attend their annual GMMs this fall.

To register for the virtual GMM, eligible members can
RSVP online provided that they belong to the following districts, communities and bargaining units:

  • Bay District
  • Eastern Ontario District – Kingston and Ottawa Communities
  • Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario
  • Front District
  • GTA North District – Downsview and North York Communities
  • Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario
  • Invest Ontario
  • Midtown District – Bloor and St. Clair Communities
  • Northern Ontario District – Thunder Bay, Kenora and Sault Ste. Marie Communities
  • Public Health Ontario
  • Western District – Halton / Peel / Simcoe / York Community

Members in these districts, communities, and bargaining units received an invitation to their personal email address yesterday.

Why are GMMs important?

GMMs give members an opportunity to meet union executives and local leadership, ask questions, learn more about the issues affecting their communities, and find out how to get involved with their union.

Over the past few weeks, AMAPCEO elected officials and staff have hosted annual GMMs in several districts and communities across Ontario.

To attend the virtual GMM, RSVP online »

We would like to acknowledge Tkaronto, a Mohawk word meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing.”

The AMAPCEO office is on the traditional unceded territory of Haudenosaunee speaking nations, including the Wendat, Seneca and Mohawk. These nations have been here since time immemorial and were in more recent times joined by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
