AMAPCEO will be bidding adieu to long-time union activist Paul Glassford when he retires in the weeks ahead after 32 years in the Ontario Public Service.
Currently working in the Forest Planning Policy section of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and based in Sault Ste. Marie, Glassford has served his fellow members as a Workplace Representative and as an MNRF Employee Relations Committee Representative for more than a decade.
Glassford was also the Chapter Chair for Sault Ste. Marie under AMAPCEO’s previous governance structure and served as Provincial Council Chair for a couple of years.
On the news of Glassford’s retirement, President Dave Bulmer said, “Paul has been a dedicated activist and genuine advocate for all members in Northern Ontario and for MNRF members province wide.
“Please join me in celebrating Paul’s service to our union, and in wishing him a very relaxing retirement.”
