Last week, AMAPCEO activists gathered for the spring 2023 Activists and Leaders Forum (ALF). The ALF helps give activists the tools they need to engage members and recruit fellow activists, with an overall view of building capacity within AMAPCEO.
This ALF included:
- remarks from President Dave Bulmer;
- a panel on the state of the Canadian labour movement featuring Deena Ladd, Executive Director of Workers’ Action Centre; Larry Savage, Professor, Labour Studies, Brock University; and Daphne Taras, Chair, Centre for Labour Management Relations;
- a presentation by Toronto City Councillor Ausma Malik; and
- a workshop on exploring leadership and force field analysis.
AMAPCEO was pleased to see so many union community leaders gathered in one place to learn, connect, and collaborate.
