AMAPCEO’s Board of Directors met last week to conduct the union’s annual strategic planning session. Over the course of three days, the Board discussed progress made against AMAPCEO’s four cornerstones in the first year of AMAPCEO’s five-year strategic plan.
Last week’s planning session also included reviews on AMAPCEO’s Bursary Program, equity terms of reference, committee appointments, and mandate letters. The Board also assessed the union’s investment policy, expense policy, education fund and board development policy.
“Our strategic planning sessions are valuable to our members because directors representing them are able to share insights and feedback while helping to strengthen our overall governance,” said President Dave Bulmer.
“2026 marks the first year of our 2026-2030 Strategic Plan: Striving for Excellence, and this meeting was exactly what we needed to see the progress we’ve made this year against our four cornerstones: Labour Relations, Member Engagement, Outreach and Governance and Operations.”
