AMAPCEO is pleased to announce that Angela Freeman was elected Secretary at last week’s Annual Delegates Conference.

An AMAPCEO member since 2008, Freeman has held several positions at AMAPCEO, including Chapter Chair, Workplace Health & Safety Representative, Workplace Representative, AMERC Co-Chair, and member of both the Finance Committee and the Women’s Equity Caucus. She has served as a District Director for over five years, first for Front and now for University / Toronto South. Most recently, Freeman holds the position of AMAPCEO Board Chair.

“Angela is a great advocate for members,” said President Dave Bulmer. “Her energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail will be huge assets as Secretary, and I look forward to working with her in this new capacity.”

We would like to acknowledge Tkaronto, a Mohawk word meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing.”

The AMAPCEO office is on the traditional unceded territory of Haudenosaunee speaking nations, including the Wendat, Seneca and Mohawk. These nations have been here since time immemorial and were in more recent times joined by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
