AMAPCEO members in the panCanadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA) recently achieved a second mid-bargaining increase of 3%.
A mid-bargaining increase is a historic gain—one that, prior to pCPA’s first mid-bargaining increase in December, AMAPCEO have never seen before as a union. But it’s this kind of fresh take on negotiations that AMAPCEO is employing to best represent its members.
“As AMAPCEO expands into more workplaces and sectors, it is powerful to see what we can achieve by standing together,” explained Dave Bulmer, AMAPCEO President/CEO. “Outside the box thinking is what makes AMAPCEO the union of choice for Ontario’s professional employees.”
Acknowledging that first contracts take quite a bit longer to hammer out, the AMAPCEO bargaining team, which consists of pCPA members, AMAPCEO staff, and counsel, was able to negotiate something to build morale and offer relief during the cost-of-living crisis.
Who are our members at the pCPA?
Members at the pCPA are skilled negotiators who work to get deals on pharmaceuticals at the national level, bringing down the cost for all Canadians. Through successor rights, AMAPCEO has represented members at pCPA since 2023.
One of AMAPCEO’s newer units, members pCPA know that there’s more to gain when we stand together as a union and appreciate your support throughout bargaining their first contract.
