Update

Thursday, October 01, 2026

AMAPCEO Black Caucus Chair Colt Saint-Baptiste and Vice-Chair Bonnie Wiltshire represented the caucus at the fifth National Black Canadians Summit in Winnipeg from September 18 to 20, 2026.

The national summit brought together Black communities and allies from across Canada to discuss the systemic challenges facing Black communities, share experiences, and explore solutions.

“This year’s summit gave Bonnie and me an incredible opportunity to connect with other Black leaders and hear about experiences that reflect what many of our members face at work,” said Saint-Baptiste. “We came away with a better understanding of how to support members’ mental health, push for fair opportunities, and strengthen our work to address anti-Black racism.”

Saint-Baptiste is looking forward to implementing their learnings. “As Chair and Vice-Chair of the AMAPCEO Black Caucus, we will draw on our experience and what we learned at the Summit to better support our members and keep pushing for workplaces where Black workers are respected and can succeed.”
