AMAPCEO was proud to sponsor the 2025 Bromley Armstrong Awards Gala on Friday, June 20 as part of the union’s donations and sponsorships program.
A celebration dedicated to activists and leaders within the labour movement and community, the Bromley Awards Gala recognizes outstanding trade unionists and their work supporting human rights, indigenous rights, equity and social justice.
AMAPCEO leadership and members of the Black Caucus joined in celebrating this year’s individuals and unions who have been recognized for their work.
Who is Bromley Lloyd Armstrong?
Bromley Lloyd Armstrong was a Black trade unionist, community organizer and activist who was a pivotal figure in the early anti-discrimination campaigns in Ontario that led to Canada’s first anti-discrimination laws.
