Board Committee nominations are open for members employed in units outside the Ontario Public Service. These positions are explicitly reserved for the union’s smaller (non-OPS) bargaining units to ensure equitable representation.
AMAPCEO has opportunities on three of its Board Committees for our members working in the College of Midwives of Ontario, FSRA, IPCC, Invest Ontario, Ontario Arts Council, Ontario Health – Quality Unit, Public Health Ontario, Supply Ontario, Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care, and the Office of the Ontario Ombudsman.
Each spring, the Board of Directors appoints members to several committees, each having its own terms of reference and requirements. We encourage you to review these to determine your eligibility. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If you are interested in nominating yourself, click and complete the respective form below by noon on Monday, April 8. Make sure to indicate clearly which committee/position you are applying for and include your candidate statement.
Joining an AMAPCEO committee is a great way to contribute to the work of the union and represent your Bargaining Unit. The following three committees each have one designated position available for members in units outside the OPS.
