Each spring, the Board of Directors appoints signed members to several Board committees. Joining an AMAPCEO committee is a great opportunity to contribute to the work of the union and represent your unit. The following three committees each have designated positions available for eligible members:
Activist and Recognition Committee – Three positions for members in GTA Districts
Health, Safety, and Wellness Committee – Two positions
Workplace Relations Committee – Two positions
All posted positions are for a two-year term. Each committee has its own terms of reference and requirements. We encourage you to review these to determine your eligibility. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at nominations@amapceo.on.ca.
If you are interested in nominating yourself, complete the form below by noon ET on Monday, March 10. Make sure to indicate clearly which committee/position you are applying for and include your candidate statement.
The Activist Recognition Committee (ARC) is responsible for inviting nominations for and selecting recipients of awards recognizing achievements by AMAPCEO activists.

The Health, Safety, and Wellness Committee fosters an environment of health, safety, and wellness for members and the families both within and outside the workplace.

- Two positions available for current Health and Safety Representatives
The Workplace Relations Committee (WRC) administers the formal dispute resolution processes contained within the AMAPCEO collective agreements. It also develops administers, and evaluates policies, procedures, and training for workplace representation; monitors employers’ application of agreements; and establishes appropriate linkages to other AMAPCEO committees and representative bodies.
