Board looks to the next five years at annual strategic planning session

AMAPCEO’s Board of Directors met this week to conduct the union’s annual strategic planning session. Discussions revolved around progress made in the final year of AMAPCEO’s five-year plan, as well as the future of the union’s four cornerstones: Labour Relations, Member Engagement, Outreach, and Governance and Operations.

“Our annual strategic planning session was especially important this year as we complete the final year of AMAPCEO’s 2021-2025 Strategic Plan and embark upon our 2026-2030 plan,” said President Dave Bulmer. “As we continue to grow our overall membership, it’s critical we maintain the high-quality services our members have come to expect. Our new plan, entitled Striving for Excellence, will guide us in achieving that goal.”

The three-day session allowed for District Directors to come together to reflect on the work of the past year, and the past five years, while highlighting key union issues for the next five years.
