AMAPCEO’s Pensions and Benefits Committee wants members to know that Great-West Life will refuse to accept benefits claims involving more than 320 Ontario-based providers of healthcare services and supplies.
From time to time, Great-West Life will make a determination that services and supplies from a provider or clinic are no longer eligible for reimbursement under benefits plans insured or administered by Great-West Life. Great-West Life will not reimburse claims made for services or supplies received from these “de-listed” providers or clinics.
Before you incur costs for Supplementary Health and Hospital services or supplies, check the 24-page list of ineligible providers and clinics in the password-protected login area of the Great-West Life website. The list is subject to change and is updated regularly.
Getting easy access to de-listed providers is one of many reasons to register for online access to Great-West’s GroupNet. You’ll also get 24/7 access to details about your claim history, be able to submit some types of expenses online and can arrange for direct deposit.
