The recipients of this year’s AMAPCEO Activist Awards were recognized at an evening ceremony during the Annual Delegates’ Conference (ADC) last week. Awarded since 2011, the AMAPCEO Activist Awards celebrate activists who make meaningful contributions to their union through their individual or team role. Recipients are nominated by fellow activists and selected by the Activist Recognition Committee.
There are four types of AMAPCEO Activist Awards that members are eligible to receive – Inspire Award, Outstanding Member Services Award, The Gary Gannage Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement, and the Equity Award. This year, AMAPCEO activists received awards in two of the categories—Inspire Award and Outstanding Member Services Award.
