Glynn Robinson is stepping down as Secretary of the AMAPCEO Board of Directors, effective the end of his term on December 31, 2021. Robinson will maintain his Workplace Representative role.
Robinson was first elected to the Board of Directors as a Director in 2015. A year later, he became Secretary, a position he has held for three consecutive two-year terms. Robinson was a Workplace Representative, ERC Co-Chair, Environment Chapter Chair for several years and a Mobilization Zone Coordinator in 2014.
He helped the union manage the successful transition from its previous Chapter-based model to its current, balanced geographic model. Robinson spent six years as a member of the Executive Committee and as Board Liaison to the Resolutions Committee, He was briefly the Chair of the Equity Committee and led union initiatives related to environmental issues and was an active Workplace Representative throughout his tenure on the Board.
“Glynn brought stability and thoughtfulness to his roles on the Board,” President Dave Bulmer said, “He was a solid team player and a good friend.”
