The AMAPCEO Board of Directors is pleased to share the appointment of Rebecca Gencarelli as the new Chair of the AMAPCEO Indigenous Circle. Having served as the Vice-Chair of the Circle since January 2023, Rebecca steps into her new role as Chair to continue building and advocating for the Indigenous community, supporting other Indigenous members, and nurturing future union activists.
With Rebecca’s appointment, our Indigenous Circle is now searching for its new Vice-Chair. If you belong to this equity caucus and are interested in taking on a leadership role, we encourage you to apply!
Nominations are now open for the Vice-Chair of the Indigenous Circle and will close on Friday, October 24 at noon ET. To nominate yourself, please email nominations@amapceo.on.ca.
Self nominations are typical, and all Indigenous Circle candidates are encouraged to submit a one-page candidate statement (one side of an 8.5” x 11” sheet) that will be shared with the AMAPCEO Board.
