Delegates shape our union priorities for 2023 – and beyond! Help approve the annual budget, financial statements, and other union business for the coming year.
AMAPCEO members in seven bargaining units have received an email calling for nominations to fill their unit-specific Delegate positions.
There is one vacancy in each of the following units:
- Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario
- Invest Ontario
- Ontario College of Midwives
- Ontario Health – Health Quality Unit
- Ombudsman – French Language Services
- Public Health Ontario
- Waypoint
Under the AMAPCEO Constitution, members in bargaining units outside the OPS, separately elect a unit-specific Delegate (one from each unit who represents all unit members regardless of where they work) to ensure that all bargaining units are represented at the annual convention. Delegates serve a two-year term.
Delegates have two major roles: to sit with their District Director as members of the District Executive Committee and to attend our annual convention (the Annual Delegates’ Conference, or ADC) where the President and other executive officers are elected, the annual budget is approved, and major policy decisions are made.
Nominations will remain open until noon (ET) on Wednesday, May 31. If elections are required, they will be held by electronic ballot in mid June.
