Update

Monday, May 26, 2025

Nominations are now open for delegate positions in the following AMAPCEO Bargaining Units:

  • Invest Ontario (one vacancy)
  • Ontario Health (one vacancy)
  • Waypoint (one vacancy)

Complete this form if you are interested in nominating yourself, and belong to one of these bargaining units.

Nominations will remain open until noon (ET) on Thursday, June 5 and the selected delegate will serve a two-year term. If elections are required to select the delegate, they will be held by electronic ballot at the end of June, and will be elected by members of the respective bargaining unit.

What is being a Delegate all about?

Delegates shape current and future union priorities while helping approve the annual budget, financial statements, and other union business for the coming year.

Delegates have two major roles: to sit with their District Director as members of the District Executive Committee and to attend our Annual Delegates’ Conference (ADC) where the President and other executive officers are elected, the annual budget is approved, and major policy decisions are made.

Under the AMAPCEO Constitution, if a bargaining unit is not represented by a District-elected Delegate, members of that bargaining unit will separately elect a unit-specific Delegate to ensure that all of AMAPCEO’s bargaining units are represented at the ADC.

We would like to acknowledge Tkaronto, a Mohawk word meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing.”

The AMAPCEO office is on the traditional unceded territory of Haudenosaunee speaking nations, including the Wendat, Seneca and Mohawk. These nations have been here since time immemorial and were in more recent times joined by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
