Nine of AMAPCEO’s 11 districts are holding elections this week to elect their candidates for the Board of Directors' consideration to be appointed to the OPS bargaining team.
The nine districts include: Bay, College Park, Eastern Ontario, Front, GTA North, Midtown, Toronto Centre, University, and Western Ontario. Two acclamations occurred those being in the Queen’s Park and Northern Ontario districts.
What happens next?
The Bargaining Readiness Working Group (BRWG) will interview each District's elected candidate (11 in total) and recommend five to seven nominees to the Board of Directors for appointment to the OPS bargaining team. The President/CEO is an ex-officio member of the team.
How can you participate?
You are eligible to vote if you are a signed member with a "home” position in the OPS within the nine specified districts.
