The union representing the professional engineers and land surveyors who plan many of Ontario’s most important infrastructure projects has been bargaining on behalf of its members for more than one year now (July 2023). With only minimal progress achieved at the table, PEGO members have provided their bargaining team with a strong strike mandate – with 95% of its members voting in favour of strike action, should it become necessary to achieving a fair collective agreement.
AMAPCEO members work side by side with PEGO members in several ministries – proudly providing the citizens of Ontario with high-quality public services.
“PEGO members are vital to the most important public, infrastructure projects and programs in our province,” said President Dave Bulmer. “They deserve a fair and respectful contract that recognizes both an increased cost of living as well as the critical work they perform.”
