Earlier today, federal public servants represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) commenced strike action.
AMAPCEO wants to express its solidarity and support for the dedicated public servants of the PSAC. A strike is a serious decision, and we know it is not one that these 155,000 members took lightly.
PSAC members provide crucial public services that people across the country rely on. They are bargaining for key issues such as wages, job security and remote work.
“AMAPCEO is proud to stand in solidarity with our federal counterparts at the Public Service Alliance of Canada,” said President Dave Bulmer. “We hope that their employer will bargain with them in good faith, and that PSAC workers are able to achieve a fair contract swiftly.”
