Three weeks have gone by since York University’s contract instructors, teaching assistants, and graduate assistants represented by CUPE 3903, started strike action.
AMAPCEO stands in solidarity and support for the 3,000 educators fighting for better wages that keep pace with inflation.
York University’s contract faculty and teaching assistants, who teach more than 50 per cent of the school’s classes, are also bargaining for better job security.
"AMAPCEO stands in solidarity with the more than 3,000 educators striking at York University,” said President Dave Bulmer. “We hope that the school will negotiate fairly and that its contract instructors and teaching assistants are able to achieve a fair contract sooner than later.”
