This past Sunday, thousands of people from across the province gathered at Mel Lastman Square to commemorate the victims of a man who drove into a crowd of people in North York. As we collectively mourn, remember, and carry on our daily business, it’s important to check in with yourself and consider the anxiety and sorrow that can occur after a tragedy like this, especially if you are one of our 800 members who work along the Yonge corridor between Finch and Sheppard.
President Dave Bulmer has written an open letter to all our members praising our public servant first responders who performed their duties admirably in chaos and reminded us of resources AMAPCEO members can access if they are experiencing the effects of trauma.
