AMAPCEO welcomed 123 Workplace Representatives (WPRs) to the Hilton Hotel in Toronto on May 27 for the union’s annual WPR Conference. The conference recognized the dedication of WPRs, with silver pins presented to those with less than 10 years of service, and gold pins awarded to those with more than 10 years of service. Congratulations to Arlene Robertson and Tim Sim for achieving an impressive 25 years of service!

Other important items discussed in this year’s conference included:
- Remarks from President Dave Bulmer, including an update on the return to office and AMAPCEO’s ongoing advocacy and litigation efforts;
- An informative panel providing WPRs with different perspectives, tip, and tricks on how to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue; and
- Discussion of strategies for supporting family status accommodation issues.
