Associate Membership

If you are temporarily acting in or seconded to an AMAPCEO-represented position, but hold a home position outside one of our seven bargaining units, you are eligible to become an Associate Member of AMAPCEO.

To ensure that you receive all of our information, you need to sign up as an associate member-in-good-standing, which can be done by filling out and submitting the following on-line form. Many employees represented by AMAPCEO assume that, because membership dues are deducted directly by the employer from their pay, they are automatically members of the Association. Under our Constitution, however, we distinguish between membership in the bargaining unit (which is compulsory, as outlined in the scope or recognition clause of each Collective Agreement) and membership in the Association itself, which is voluntary.

NOTE: Under the federal government’s anti-spam legislation, we need your consent before we can send you e-mails; completing and submitting the Associate membership form gives us permission to contact you. We will also need a home or personal e-mail address; if you do not have one, please consider creating one using a free, web-based e-mail service (such as Google mail).
