AMAPCEO we will be marching in the Toronto & York Region Labour Council Labour Day Parade on Monday, September 7, 2026—and we are inviting all Toronto City Council Staff to attend!

This is an opportunity to meet AMAPCEO members and march together in a spirit of union pride and solidarity.

Bring your family and friends—everyone is welcome!

Deadline to register, secure swag and a CNE wristband is by noon ET on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Wristbands are on a first come first serve basis and marchers must accompany a Toronton City Council Staff member to receive a wristband.

Meeting time and parade route on Monday September 7, 2026

Our AMAPCEO contingent will be led by Victoria Marshall, Midtown District Director, and we will be meeting no later than 9am ET at the corner of Queen St. W and University Ave.

Our march will begin at 9:30am ET going west along Queen W to Dufferin, and then marching south on Dufferin into the CNE grounds.

If you cannot meet at the starting point, feel free to join us anytime along the route - just look for the AMAPCEO flag!

* Please dress accordingly and be sure to also bring along water and sunscreen for the march.
