We are pleased to report that AMAPCEO-represented employees at Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) voted overwhelmingly in favour of ratifying their first collective agreement as an independent bargaining unit with 99.5% voting in favour of the new agreement. AMAPCEO awaits ratification on the Employer’s end, at which point the deal will become FSRA members' new collective agreement.

The new agreement, with a 2022-2025 term, includes 9.5% across-the-board increases over three years, a new Health Care Spending Account for 2024 and 2025, and flexible work protections.

Members can find the memorandum of settlement, as well as highlights of the new agreement, at amapceo.ca/bargaining/fsra.

President Bulmer commented, “this was an extended round of negotiations, but the FSRA members were strong and united in demanding a fair deal from their Employer.”

Over the past few months, members participated in a number of actions, including wearing blue and using their AMAPCEO virtual background, to show their support of their Bargaining Team.

AMAPCEO is grateful to FSRA Bargaining Team members Brigitte Elie and Chet Ng, and staff support, Sangeeta Boondoo and Lee Douitsis.

In the coming weeks, AMAPCEO will be updating the website, including creating new fact sheets for FSRA members.

If you have questions about the new agreement, please contact Lee Douitsis at  douitsis@amapceo.on.ca.

We would like to acknowledge Tkaronto, a Mohawk word meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing.”

The AMAPCEO office is on the traditional unceded territory of Haudenosaunee speaking nations, including the Wendat, Seneca and Mohawk. These nations have been here since time immemorial and were in more recent times joined by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
