Just a reminder that the OPS four-year ‘roll-over’ contract begins on April 1, although some of its features have already started to be implemented.
Most of the provisions are unchanged from the collective agreement that expires on March 31, but highlights of the settlement that was ratified last June include: 7.5% across-the-board salary increases over four years; new lump-sum payments to red-circled employees; new entitlements for dependent and elder care; repeal of the much-disliked Attendance Support Management Program (ASMP); and a new optional out-of-country medical insurance program.
