AMAPCEO members at Waypoint recently voted unanimously in favour of a new collective agreement.
Applying retroactively from April 1, 2023 until March 31, 2026, the new contract includes:
- across-the-board retroactive salary increases of 3.5%, effective April 1, 2023, and 3%, effective April 1, 2024. For April 1, 2025, AMAPCEO-represented Waypoint employees will receive a wage increase to match the increase negotiated by OPSEU local 329.
- increases to paramedical per-visit coverage caps.
- new provisions for work/life balance.
"I'd like to congratulate our hardworking bargaining team for achieving this contract," said AMAPCEO President Dave Bulmer. "Salary increases and enhancement to benefits will improve the quality of life for our members."
The Waypoint bargaining team, Mary Kraftscik and Terri Newman, thank their colleagues for their support throughout the bargaining process to demand a fair deal.
